Global players in the FinTech industry are joining forces to simplify regional companies’ access to new markets by providing connectivity to international payment and treasury infrastructure.
Tribe Payments and Finmo announced a strategic partnership aimed at delivering integrated solutions for treasury management and payments. The collaboration targets banks and FinTech companies across the Asia-Pacific and European regions.
U.K.-based Tribe Payments offers a globally scalable platform for card issuance and acquiring, providing connections to Mastercard, Visa, American Express, UnionPay International, Discover, and JCB. The company delivers unified integration for access to international payment networks and enables rapid launch of customized financial products.
Singapore-based Finmo, licensed by the local regulator under an MPI license, provides a comprehensive treasury management system. Its solutions include liquidity management tools, compliance automation, real-time cash flow monitoring, and currency risk management. Finmo’s service spans 180 countries with direct access to local clearing systems in Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Australia, and New Zealand.
According to the press release, the partnership will enable:
- Tribe to leverage Finmo’s infrastructure for accelerated entry into APAC markets;
- Finmo to expand its platform capabilities with Tribe’s card issuance and acquiring solutions across Europe and Asia;
- both companies to strengthen their presence in B2B and cross-border payments segments.
The joint effort focuses on building developer-friendly infrastructure with an emphasis on easy integration and global scalability.
Finmo CEO David Hanna and Tribe’s APAC General Manager Matt Weir highlighted the partnership as a prime example of bridging Eastern and Western FinTech sectors for collaborative global growth.
Visa recently launched its global Commercial Integrated Partners program, providing FinTech companies and business application providers with tools for seamless integration of payment functions into their platforms.
