It was a fairly muted day for major cryptos, aside from a big pump in the XRP (XRP) price thanks to a favorable ruling in the Ripple vs SEC lawsuit, with traders turning to the riskier on-chain micro-cap markets in their pursuit of top crypto gainers today.

Bitcoin (BTC), last just under $56,000, chopped between the $55,000 and $58,000 levels.
XRP, meanwhile, rocketed 18.5% higher on the session back to the $0.60 area.

As markets brace for a major crypto announcement from Donald Trump Junior, a Trump-themed meme coin called Be Defiant (BeDeFi) is trying to surge higher.
BeDeFi, and Ethereum-based coin, was last up 147,000% in the past 24 hours to a market cap of $7.2 million, per DEXScreener.
Its liquidity was last close to $400,000, but isn’t locked, which means liquidity rug pull risks remain elevated.
Per DEXScreener’s smart contract audit, the token has various concerning aspects that could indicate it is a scam.
World Liberty (WL)
Another Trump-themed shitcoin called World Liberty (WL) is amongst the top crypto gainers today.
WL was last up 90,000%, giving it a market cap of around $2.3 million. It also has around $200,000 in locked liquidity.
Of course, that doesn’t mean the token isn’t a scam. Indeed, it has three concerning issues, per DEXScreener.
