Meme coin Neiro ($NEIRO) continues to soar after yesterday’s rise, which was as much as 50% in 24 hours.
Ethereum’s new Dogecoin contender was the best-performing meme coin in the last 24 hours and among the fifteen largest by market capitalization.
Neiro blew up 11.4% overnight and a staggering 55.5% over the week to change hands at $0.002357 at the start of the weekend.
The surging prices everywhere are mostly due to the reelection of Donald Trump as the 47th US President.
Trump adopted a pro-crypto stance this campaign (despite being famously skeptical of Bitcoin during his previous presidency).
Since then, Bitcoin ($BTC) has set three new all-time highs, the last of which was $76,872.61 yesterday.
At its current price of $76,146.50, the original cryptocurrency is about 0.9% short of setting another new high watermark today.

Neiro’s developers launched the meme coin project with a marketing stunt, airdropping Ethereum creator Vitalik Buterin 4% of the supply on August 4, which was worth about $130,000 at the time.

The token encountered stiff resistance at $0.0013 throughout the end of September before rising to an ATH of $0.002259 on October 15.
Its relative strength index (RSI) is 62 and falling, suggesting the token is currently fairly valued, but it may be losing some steam as traders do a spot of weekend selling.
