Evernorth began trading on Nasdaq as XRPN on Monday, October 12, with approximately 473 million XRP and $300 million in gross cash. However, its XRP treasury was worth about $677 million at the closing reference price-well below the more than $1 billion funding figure the news said.

The company completed its business combination with SPAC Armada Acquisition Corp. II on Friday, October 9. The $677 million treasury valuation uses XRP at $1.43, compared with $2.37 when the deal was signed in October 2025, a decline of 40% between those reference points.
A 473 million XRP treasury ahead of the listing was already central to the market’s expectations; the closing price shows how quickly the underlying asset can change the equity story.

Investors can buy XRPN through a regular brokerage account without directly holding XRP. The SPAC transaction left XRPN with a particularly narrow starting float. About 80.3% of Armada’s public shareholders, representing 18.5 million shares, redeemed at roughly $10.58 per share, withdrawing approximately $195 million before closing. That left around 4.5 million original public shares available to trade, a small pool in which relatively modest orders can produce outsized price moves.
The trading history around the merger illustrates the effect. XRPN reached an intraday high of $53 on October 2, closed that Friday at $39.42, and stood at $17.09 on October 9, the merger-closing date. On its first Nasdaq session, the stock briefly approached $19 before falling to $16.64 by midday.
Ownership adds another layer to the structure. Filing data cited in the source puts SBI Holdings at 39.9% of voting shares, Arrington Capital’s fund at 19.9%, and Ripple co-founder Chris Larsen at a 9.9% interest. Ripple and its affiliates are capped at 9.9% of voting power; Ripple, a Larsen-linked trust, and Arrington’s fund have six-month lock-ups that prevent sales until April 2027.

Evernorth is not presenting itself as a passive vault. Its stated plans include DeFi yield strategies and operating validators on the XRP Ledger, with the aim of increasing the XRP represented by each share. The company named Hugo Jeandesboz, formerly co-chief investment officer at Coinbase Asset Management, to lead that strategy on Monday, October 12.
