Bitcoin Frogs, a pepe-themed NFT collection, has made a significant splash in the industry, particularly amidst the ongoing hype surrounding Bitcoin Ordinals. The most recent data reveals that Bitcoin Frogs, a series of NFTs associated with Bitcoin, has outperformed the Bored Ape Yacht Club in terms of transaction volume, making it the highest-grossing NFT series in the past 24 hours.
This Pepe coin-themed NFT series has accumulated more than $2 million in transaction volume through approximately 600 transactions. In the past 24 hours, sales of Bitcoin Frogs have surged by 134%, reaching a total of $2.22 million. The number of transactions has also experienced a significant increase, rising by more than 39.68%.
As per reports, since the launch of the Ordinals Protocol earlier this year, NFTs directly issued on the Bitcoin blockchain have experienced a surge in popularity. The Ordinals Protocol allows users to incorporate references to digital art into small transactions on the Bitcoin blockchain, with the total number of Ordinals inscriptions surpassing 3 million earlier this month.
